Bei Loon qualifies for the 2024 Club Crew World Championships in Italy

Bei Loon has just received an invitation to enter 3 teams in the Club Crew World Championships in Ravenna, Italy in September 2024. This follows on from the mighty medal tally Bei Loon earned at the Australian National Championships in April, 2023. We missed out on the 2020 CCWC in France due to Covid so we are rearing to go in 2024. We are all so excited!

Over 40 members competed in the Gold Coast over 3 days culminating in a 4.8k race Around the Island.

2022 Winter Warmer at Kurnell

100 m races as well as 1km pursuit. Well, we got in our 100m races but the regatta was suspended due to high winds.

Lots of racing and fun including a bronze medal in the 2km race for the Senior B Women's team.

Annual Training Day

Lots of members joined us for our annual training day - sports nutritionist, sport physio, on land weight training and 2 on water sessions.

2022 Annual 8km Bei Loon Scotland Island Race

10 crews participated over 2 races. The weather conditions prevented going around Scotland Island but we all happily paddled in Pittwater going around a 2km course four times. Winners were DSA (Yellow) coming in at 45 minutes and 18 seconds, followed by Komodo at 45.48 and a combined Nowra/Pittwater team came in third place at 46.22.

Information Day on Saturday February 12, 2022

The Bei Loon Dragon Boat Club is seeking more paddlers of ALL adult ages to join us on the beautiful Pittwater. Dragon Boating is a lo-impact, safe sport with up to 20 paddlers in each boat. We train hard, race hard and have a lot of fun doing it. Summer Training options: Saturday 6.45 am | Sunday 7.45am | Tuesday & Thurs 6 pm.
