Bei Loon entered 7 teams.  For the 100m - Mixed Over 50's, 2 teams for Mixed Over 40's, Opens and a Women's team.  For the 1km pursuit we had two teams - Womens and Opens.  We got most of our 100m racing completed in the morning before the regatta was cancelled late morning.  At 2pm the winds were WNW 38.9km/h gusting to 48.2km/h.  So , definitely the right decision by DBNSW.  We had 26 members paddling/sweeping and a volunteer (thanks Di!) who looked after the ERG competition on the beach.  Bei Loon handled the challenges well - and these challenges started right off at the beach when trying to launch the boats.  Some of us (yes Madam President, we saw you) fell in the water before even getting on the first boat!  Just as well we have the right clothing to keep us warm.
